Principles

At Bright Beginnings 2014 Limited we encourage our people to undertake professional development and training to acquire skills and qualifications that are relevant to their current positions or may help them develop into other positions within the company.
Financial contribution towards professional development and training may be granted at the sole discretion of the company. This is subject to business needs and must be approved in writing, using this agreement, prior to the commencement of any professional development or training.
Any employee undertaking professional development or training that has been funded by the company is required to agree to a bonding period following such professional development or training, as outlined in this agreement.
During the bonding periods defined in this agreement the amounts specified must be paid back to the company by the employee for the professional development or training undertaken.
Bonding is designed to ensure the employee gets the most out of any professional development or training through workplace application and also that the company receives a suitable return on its investment.
In signing this agreement the employee authorises Bright Beginnings 2014 Limited to deduct any amounts owing under this bonding agreement directly from any payments owed to the Employee, without requiring further permission from the employee. This includes wages, leave accruals orany other payments owed to the Employee.
